Jumper Security is in its 11th year of operation. With Cumberland Security Bank as its sponsor, the bank strives to bring a valuable service and learning experience for the staff and student body. In the past, Jumper Security has presented at the Kentucky Teaching and Learning Conference.  Upon completion of the financial services course, over 70% of students receive their Skills Standards Certificate upon graduation with the majority also receiving Career Majors in Financial Services.
 

The mission of this bank is to educate students about bank operations and financial planning.  The Student Bank is to provide an adequate service to the students and faculty.  Although the main goal is not to produce a large profit, it should be operated in a way to produce a profit.

The student bankers should realize that their positions are important ones.  It is important that each account is handled with integrity, maturity, and confidentiality.  Each banker's goal is to perform his or her job in this manner.

The primary purpose of the Student Bank is to educate the students about banking.  By doing this, the bank will be run with efficiency and professionalism resulting in self preservation and meeting the primary goal both now and in the future.
